Rinzu kimono
Date: 1935-1940
A rinzu (figured silk) kinsha (fine crepe) silk kimono featuring abstract stenciled fan motifs against a 3"-wide alternating medium-blue/light-blue vertical stripes. These two shades of blue are the effect of a single blue color that due to the rinzu technique, reflect light differently because of the two weaves involved.
Designs taken from ‘Shin-Bijutsukai’(1902). Published by Unsōdō and overseen by Kamisaka Sekka (1866–1942).

The only source I could find that mentions this piece is a PDF called “Scandinavian Embroidery” by Maggie Forest, who sources it as a 15th century coverlet held in Dalhem church, Gotland, Sweden. I could not verify this anywhere else.
